No veteran left
standing in the cold.

Divine Housing of Valor connects homeless and at-risk veterans in the Dallas and Houston area with housing, financial assistance, counseling, and VA benefits navigation — one veteran at a time.

Our mission is to provide housing assistance, supportive partnerships, and resource coordination that empower Veterans to achieve long-term housing stability and independence.
Our Mission Statement

Divine Housing of Valor is a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness obtain safe, stable housing and supportive resources — working alongside VA programs, HUD-VASH partners, Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV), case managers, landlords, and community organizations across the Dallas and Houston areas.

To create a community where every veteran has access to safe, stable housing and the resources needed to achieve independence and long-term success.

Counseling & Family Support

Peer support, faith-based counseling, and family reunification guidance through the transition home.

Community Impact

Part of Something Bigger

Your property becomes part of a collaborative effort to provide veterans with the stability and dignity of having a place to call home.

Simple & Straightforward

How the Partnership Works

1

Available Unit

The property identifies an available unit that may be appropriate for a participating veteran.

2

Veteran Referral

Divine Housing of Valor refers a qualified veteran for consideration, in accordance with the property's normal screening requirements and applicable housing laws.

3

Move-In Costs

Required application fees, administrative fees, and security deposits are paid by Divine Housing of Valor or other available funding sources, when approved.

4

Lease

The lease is signed directly between the property and the resident, unless another arrangement has been specifically agreed to in writing.

5

Move-In

The approved veteran completes the leasing process and moves into the unit.

6

Monthly Rent

Approved rental payments coordinated through Divine Housing of Valor are paid via ACH on or before the 3rd day of each month, subject to the lease, program approval, and applicable funding.

7

Real Estate Partners

Realtors and buyer's agents help match veterans with available listings — for rent or for purchase — and coordinate with our team on eligibility and funding so the transaction moves smoothly.
